(MENAFN- Arab Times) A three-year-old girl died when she fell from the second floor of her family's house in Riqqa.
After receiving a call from a Kuwaiti woman who reported that her daughter fell from the second floor of their house, the Operations Room at the Ministry of Interior dispatched a team of security officers, along with paramedics. However, when the rescuers reached the location, the girl was no longer there as a passerby took her to Adan Hospital where she was pronounced dead due to severe head injuries. Her remains were referred to Forensics.
During interrogations, the mother told the officers that she left her daughter playing in her room alone and then she suddenly heard her scream. She was surprised to find the girl lying on the ground floor with blood oozing from her head due to the impact of the fall. A case was registered and investigations are ongoing to determine the actual circumstances leading to the incident.
