(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) The moon-sighting committee has announced that Tuesday, July 9, 2013, will be the 30th day of the month of Shaaban and accordingly, Wednesday, July 10, 2013, will be the first day of the holy month of Ramadan.
Meanwhile, scholars from various Arab and Islamic countries have arrived in the UAE to grace religious activities during the holy month of Ramadan. The activities are being held under the personal follow-up of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Presidential Affairs Shaikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
