Unemployment in Jordan stands 12.6%
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Unemployment rate in the Kingdom for the second quarter of 2013, stood at 12.6 percent, slightly down from the first quarter of the year.
A Department of Statistics report revealed that unemployment among males was at 10.2 percent and 22.4 percent among females for the same period.
According to the figures, the highest rate of unemployment was recorded in the northern city of Jerash at 18.1 percent while Zarqa was the lowest city in joblessness with a percentage of 10.8.
