(MENAFN- Arab Times) Asian expatriate who tried in vain to escape from the police in Mahboula area was arrested with 63 bottles of local-brew in his possession, following a hot chase. Apparently, Ahmadi securitymen on routine duty came across a vehicle which was parked in front of a building with a person inside it. The officers were approaching the car for investigation when suddenly the suspect came out and took to his heels. They managed to chase him on foot and subsequently arrested him. While searching inside the car, the officers found 63 bottles of liquor. The suspect admitted selling the contraband to his compatriots and was referred for further investigation.
