Kuwait- Family saved from fire


(MENAFN- Arab Times) Fire broke out in a house at Oyoun area early morning Tuesday, during which 18 individuals including 10 children were trapped inside the house and suffered from smoke inhalation. According to sources, a Kuwaiti citizen was on his way early morning for Fajr prayers when he noticed the house on fire. He immediately reported the incident to the Control Room of Kuwait Fire Service Directorate. Firefighters rushed to the location with securitymen and paramedics. They first rescued the trapped individuals and then extinguished the fire within a short time. Paramedics treated the victims at the site. Investigations revealed that the fire broke out due to a short circuit issue. Meanwhile, a huge fire engulfed a semi-constructed building in Qurain area. No casualties were reported. According to sources, fire broke out from some highly inflammable materials that were present at the construction site, which quickly aggravated due to strong wind. Firefighters rushed to the location and extinguished the fire within a short time. Furthermore, fire broke out in a public service building affiliated to the Ministry of Public Works in Ardiya area and spread over an area of 500 square meters. No casualties were reported. Firefighters rushed to the location after receiving information about the incident and extinguished the fire within a short time. Initial investigations revealed that some inflammable chemicals were present at the site, which had caught fire. Further investigations are ongoing to unravel the details of the fire incident.
