Korean Daewoo Shipbuilding clinches USD411m order


(MENAFN) South Korean shipbuilder Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co Ltd has won a USD411.2 million order to build two liquefied natural gas (LNG) carriers from Angelicoussis Shipping Group Ltd, Reuters reported. Daewoo estimated the vessels will be completed by the second half of 2016, and operated by Maran Gas Maritime Inc., a gas shipping unit of Angelicoussis Group. At the end of June, the company has won another order from Norwegian Defense Logistics Organization (NDLO) worth USD230 million deliver the logistics and support vessel by September 2016
