Australia- Mobile Embrace fiscal year 2013 earnings up 165%


(MENAFN- ProactiveInvestors - Australia)  Mobile Embrace has registered an increase of 165% in its earnings before income tax, depreciation and amortisation to $0.85 million in fiscal year 2013 from $0.32 million the year before. The mobile marketing and mobile commerce (m-payments) company's earnings were boosted by strong cash flow positive trading in the fourth quarter resulting in revenues of $3.95 million. Its revenue also increased to $12 million from $11.37 million in FY 2012. The increase in revenues were underpinned by mobile commerce (m-payments) business, which posted strong second and third quarter revenue. The third quarter revenue for the mobile commerce business was $1.9 million while the fourth quarter brought in $2.9 million, an increase of 53%. Earnings were also supported by its mobile advertising business, which while posting a softer third quarter, picked up steam to finish the fourth quarter with $3 million revenue. The business grew 88% year-on-year beating analyst forecast of 46% growth.
