UAE- Dewa Dh360m pipe project on schedule


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times)  The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, or Dewa, has announced that its new Dh360 million water pipeline project is progressing as per schedule. The project envisages supplying, implementing and extending a water transmission network by 67km in several areas of Dubai. "The Dewa aims to raise its operational capacity to contribute to the sustainable growth of the emirate of Dubai. To date, we have extended some 25km of water pipelines, about 36.8 per cent of the total, for our new project," managing director and chief executive officer Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer said. "The project is going as planned, and the final phase of execution is taking place in 14 months."
