Tunisia Creates 27,398 Jobs in 2013


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) The Tunisian market created 27,398 jobs in the first five months of 2013, an increase of 24% year-on-year. The Tunisian Ministry of Vocational training and Employment said in a statement released today that 23,642 of these jobs were provided to Tunisian nationals. The figure is equivalent to 86.3% of the jobs available. The Ministry said that the number of people who applied for work in 2013 up to May was 195,665 people. The figure is a decrease of 23.4% year-on-year. Some 97,030 of those who applied have a university degree.
