Kuwait- Officer abducts own wife at gunpoint
(MENAFN- Arab News) Â A Kuwaiti citizen working at Ministry of Interior as an officer of rank 'First Sergeant' took his Arab wife by force from the house of her female friend in Ishbiliya after using a weapon to threaten a neighbor when the latter tried to stop him.
According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information that an Arab woman was kidnapped from a house in Ishbiliya area, securitymen rushed to the location to discover that the woman was kidnapped by her Kuwaiti husband.
Investigations revealed that the woman started shouting for help while the suspect was pulling her out of her friend's house. When a neighbor intervened to rescue the victim, the suspect pulled out a pistol and threatened to shoot him. He then fled from the location in his vehicle, taking his wife forcefully along with him.
A case was registered and investigations are ongoing to summon the suspect for questioning.
Immoral messages: A Kuwaiti woman filed a case at Qairawan Police Station against an unknown individual who harassed her by sending several immoral messages on her mobile phone.
According to security sources, the victim informed securitymen that he sent several immoral messages but when she ignored him, he threatened to inform her husband about their love affair. However, the victim insisted to securitymen that she did not know him.
Investigations are ongoing to find and arrest the suspect.
Gone in minutes: A Kuwaiti citizen filed a case at Faiha Police Station against an unknown individual who stole his vehicle from the parking area in front of his house.
According to sources, the citizen informed securitymen that he had started his vehicle and moved away from it for few minutes. When he returned, he was shocked to find it missing.
Investigations are ongoing to find the suspect and retrieve the stolen vehicle.
Maid steals, runs: The housemaid of a Kuwaiti citizen stole KD 350 from his house in Saad Al-Abdullah area and ran away.
According to security sources, the citizen informed securitymen that the suspect disappeared after stealing KD 350 from his clothes in his house.
A case was registered and investigations are ongoing to find the suspect.
Teacher's car vandalized: A number of unknown students of a public school in Mubarak Al-Kabeer area damaged a teacher's vehicle after completing their examinations.
According to sources, the teacher lodged a complaint against the unknown suspects, informing securitymen that he was shocked to note his vehicle was damaged when he exited the school.
A case was registered and investigations are ongoing to find the suspects.
Pet dog stolen: An unknown individual stole the pet dog of a Kuwaiti citizen from the premises of his house in Shamiya area.
According to security sources, the citizen informed securitymen that the suspect broke into his dog's kennel in front of his house and stole the dog.
A case was registered and investigations are ongoing to arrest the suspect and retrieve the stolen dog.
