Kuwait- Mentally ill man harasses woman


(MENAFN- Arab Times)   Police have arrested an unidentified person and referred him to the Psychiatric Hospital for harassing a Kuwaiti woman inside a market in Farwaniya, reports Al-Shahed daily. The arrest came after the woman complained to the Operations Department of the Ministry of Interior that the man was urging her to be his follower and that he wanted to liberate Palestine. Police rushed to the market, seized the man and took him to a police station. He was then taken to the Psychological Medicines Hospital after his brother submitted a report to the police station on his mental health. Hunt for motorist: Police are looking for an unidentified person for speeding and endangering the lives of others, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. The suspect reportedly hit a roaming taxi and continued driving. Police preferred not to chase the motorist for fear he may collide with other cars because he was allegedly driving at 180 kph. The car plate number has been circulated to all police patrols. Selling fake phones: The Special Task Force in coordination with inspectors from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry recently raided a company in Salmiya and arrested two Arabs for selling counterfeit cell phones, reports Alam Alyawm daily. According to security sources the suspects claimed the phones were genuine and even offered the buyers one year warranty. However, when some buyers discovered the phones were fake they complained to the authorities. The cell phones have been confiscated and the suspects have been referred to the authorities.
