Kuwait- Indian steals passengers expensive watch


(MENAFN- Arab Times)   The Kuwait International Airport police have arrested an unidentified Indian employee working for a GCC airline for stealing an expensive watch from the bag of a passenger, reports Al-Shahed daily. The daily added after the victim complained about the loss of his watch, the securitymen interrogated several people and when that did not work, reviewed the CCTV footage and saw the man opening the baggage of the passenger. The suspect has been handed over to the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh Police Station. Indian expat robbed: A Bedoun was arrested for impersonating a security official and stealing KD 120 from an Indian expatriate in Taima area. According to security sources, the victim filed a case at Taima Police Station and informed securitymen that an unknown individual in a private vehicle stopped him and showed him an ID card, claiming he was a security officer from Taima Police Station. He then took the victim to the parking lot of Na'eem Police Station, where he threatened to put the victim behind bars if he did not give all his money to him. After taking KD 120 from the victim, the suspect dropped him at his residence and left. Using the information given by the Indian expatriate, securitymen searched and found the suspect inside his vehicle. They checked his details and discovered he is a Bedoun. They checked his possessions, and found KD 35 and some mobile recharge cards. He was referred to Taima Police Station where the victim identified him as the culprit. Car wash station robbed: Police are looking for an unidentified person for stealing seven items from a car wash station worth KD 4,700, reports Alam Alyawm daily. According to a reliable security source, a complaint has been filed by the Egyptian worker of the car station with the Fahaheel Police Station. Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department have lifted fingerprints to identify the culprits. 'Suspend transactions': The Director of Traffic Violations has ordered to suspend all transactions of an unidentified Kuwaiti youth for speeding. He was reportedly caught driving at 194 kph on a road where the maximum speed limit is 80 kph, reports Al-Rai daily. According to security sources the suspect was caught by radar. The daily added, information about the driver has been relayed to all police patrols with an arrest warrant. Betrayal of trust: A Kuwaiti woman has filed a complaint with the Surra Police Station accusing her husband of betrayal of trust, reports Al-Anba daily. She accused the man of selling her 2003 model Lexus car. The police have summoned the man for interrogation.
