Libya- Crude oil production falls amid protests, says Libya's NOC

(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM))  Libya's crude oil production has fallen below one million barrels a day amid widespread protests at terminals, the country's state oil company said. In a statement posted on its website, Libya's National Oil Co. said production is now "less than one million barrels per day of crude oil," blaming the "closure of some fields and oil ports" due to protests. The number represents a drop of at least 29% from an average of 1.4 million barrels a day last month.
