Australian Cooper to sell Tunisia assets

(MENAFN) Australian Cooper Energy's Managing Director, David Maxwell, stated that the company plans on selling its extensive Tunisian interests, reported Arabian Oil and Gas. Maxwell also said that the company will start the selling after the completion of its well Hammamet West-3. The Managing Director explained that the company's plans go in hand with its strategy to focus mainly on Australia. He added that Cooper sees that it would benefit Tunisia better if an Africa-focused firm managed the country's assests.
