Kuwait, Morocco Sign Cooperative Agreements


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Kuwait and Morocco signed a number of cooperative agreements as the first session of the Kuwaiti-Moroccan Commercial Committee wound up here on Tuesday. The deals were signed by Kuwaiti Minister of Commerce and Industry Anas Al-Saleh and his Moroccan counterpart Abdulkader Amara. The agreements are related to executive programs for drawing foreign investment, industry and standardization. The Kuwaiti minister said during the signing ceremony that the agreements would contribute to promoting and developing cooperative relations between Kuwait and Morocco. He shed light on the role of the private sector in updating Kuwait's national economic data, reactivating the economic growth, contributing to the creation of fixed capital and creating jobs. For his part, the Moroccan minister hailed the joint committee meeting as a good opportunity for assessing and monitoring the vistas of bilateral trade and economic cooperation. He voiced satisfaction with the results of the committee meeting, which he said fulfilled joint expectations and hopes for closer relations in all levels.
