Jordan- Yemenis, Omanis rank among top investors in real estate market


(MENAFN- Jordan Times) Yemeni and Omani investors ranked among top investors in the real estate market in July this year, accounting for 10 per cent of the overall real estate trading volume. According to a report by the Land and Survey Department, Yemeni and Omani investors outranked Kuwaiti and American investors. Iraqi investors remained among the leading investors followed by investors from Saudi Arabia. Also, Syrian investors have been among the top five investors in real estate sector since the beginning of the year. In terms of the investment volume, Iraq ranked first at JD19.4 million while Saudi Arabia ranked second at JD5.5 million, followed by the Yemeni investors whose investment volume totalled JD1.7 million. Syrian and Omani investors came next at JD1.4 million and JD1.3 million, respectively.
