(MENAFN- Youm7) EgyptAir decided to increase its flights to Algeria in November to seven flights per week.
EgyptAir Regional Manager in Algeria, Gehan Hassan, said the decision was made to manage the increasing numbers of travelers from Cairo to Algeria, especially since Algeria is a large country with many potential tourists.
She said they started to take necessary measures to renew their office in the Algerian capital after the clashes, which followed the soccer match of Egypt and Algeria's national teams in 2009.
Hassan said the company offers discounts to support tourist movement between both countries.
She added the company managed to achieve notable success in transferring the Algerian pilgrims to Saudi Arabia this year. She added the company transferred about 6,000 pilgrims on 30 flights.
