Iraq: ID125b to set up 91 schools in Kurdistan


(MENAFN- Aswat Al-Iraq) Prime Minister of Iraq’s Kurdistan region Barham Saleh said on Monday that 125 billion dinars ($105 million) have been allocated to establish 91 modern schools in the region. This came while laying the cornerstone of a modern school in Arbil at a cost of 2.200 billion dinars, with the participation of several officials. “The amounts will be used to establish 25 schools in Arbil, 33 in Sulaimaniya, 33 in Duhuk, in addition to other schools in Kirmyan, Kirkuk and Sinjar,” he explained.
