Kuwait, Tunisia sign education MoU


(MENAFN) KUNA reported that a Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) was signed here on Monday between Tunisian Institute for the progress of Handicapped and Kuwaiti Center for Child Evaluation and Teaching to boost cooperation and coordination in the field of learning difficulties to children. Tunisian Minister of State in charge of supervising the signing ceremony Najah Belkhairi Al-Qarawi said that such initiative reflects the keenness of both countries to a very vital element in any community. The signing of the MOU affirms the will of the political leadership in both countries towards greater cooperation and Arab integration. For his part, Kuwaiti Ambassador to Tunisia Abdul-Hamid Al-Failakawi said that such agreement would upgrade cooperation between the two countries to a new level. The Ambassador expressed confidence in the Kuwaiti center due to its vast experience which adds up to more than 26 years in the field. The MOU promotes cooperation and sustained support to various activities, including workshops, exchange of documents and programs. The two sides also agreed to hold periodic meetings in order to review and assess such agreement and cooperation.
