Jeddah hosts Algerian cultural delegation


(MENAFN) A spokesman for the King Fahd Coastal City said that a group of Algerian artists, actors, poets and writers will perform in Jeddah in attempts to strengthen cultural understanding between the two counties, Arab News reported. An Algerian play called Maha the Shoemaker will be performed by the group at the King Fahd Coastal City, it will be performed for a male-only audience. A group of Algerian women poets will recite poetry at the Jeddah Literary Club for a strictly women audience. On another occasion, a female folklore band will perform for a women-only audience at the King Fahd Coastal City, at the same time men will be entertained by Algerian poetry and music at the King Abdul Aziz Historical Center.
